INT. MOZART FAMILY HOME – DAY

LEOPOLD MOZART (a composed, middle-aged man with a commanding presence) is sitting at the harpsichord, playing softly. NANNERL MOZART (11 years old, eager and attentive) watches her father closely as WOLFGANG MOZART (5 years old, lively and curious) stands beside her, his wide eyes glued to the instrument. Leopold stops and turns toward his children.

LEOPOLD
(smiling warmly)
Nannerl, it’s your turn. Play what we practiced.

Nannerl eagerly sits at the harpsichord and begins playing a lively melody. Her fingers move smoothly over the keys, but Wolfgang’s focus sharpens, watching closely.

LEOPOLD
(encouraging)
Good, Nannerl. Keep your wrist steady.

Nannerl adjusts her wrist, continuing to play with increasing confidence. Wolfgang steps closer to the harpsichord, his eyes now following the movement of Nannerl’s hands.

WOLFGANG
(excited, pointing to the keys)
Papa, I want to play too!

Leopold chuckles and looks at his young son.

LEOPOLD
(half-joking)
Wolfgang, you’re still too small. First, listen and learn.

Wolfgang, frowning slightly, looks at Nannerl's fingers, determined.

NANNERL
(teasing)
Maybe when you’re older, Wolfgang.

Wolfgang watches silently, then suddenly reaches out and touches a key after Nannerl finishes her piece. The note he plays blends perfectly with the last note of Nannerl’s performance.

LEOPOLD
(startled, looking at Wolfgang)
Wait—play that again.

Wolfgang touches the key once more, then presses others, slowly figuring out a simple melody. Nannerl watches, amazed.

LEOPOLD
(leaning closer)
Play this.

Leopold demonstrates a short, intricate passage. Wolfgang stands on tiptoes and mimics it with remarkable accuracy.

LEOPOLD
(surprised, softly)
By God…

NANNERL
(excited)
Papa, how does he do that?

LEOPOLD
(to Wolfgang)
Wolfgang… how did you learn this?

WOLFGANG
(grinning)
I just hear it, Papa.

Leopold stands and guides Wolfgang onto the bench.

LEOPOLD
(slightly amazed)
Let’s see how much you can hear.

He begins playing a more complex melody, watching Wolfgang carefully. Wolfgang’s small hands struggle at first but soon start hitting the right notes. Leopold’s face shifts from astonishment to deep concentration.

NANNERL
(whispering, awestruck)
He’s doing it!

Leopold stops playing, gently lifts Wolfgang from the bench, and kneels down, meeting him eye to eye.

LEOPOLD
(calm, but intense)
Wolfgang, you are truly special. But remember—music requires hard work. Do you understand?

WOLFGANG
(nods enthusiastically)
Yes, Papa! I want to play more.

LEOPOLD
(standing, nodding slowly)
You will. Starting tomorrow, you’ll have lessons with me, just like Nannerl.

Wolfgang beams with joy, running around the room in excitement. Nannerl watches her little brother, smiling proudly.

EXT. MOZART FAMILY GARDEN – DAY

Leopold steps outside, pacing the garden with a deep, thoughtful expression. His wife, ANNA MARIA (a calm and caring woman), approaches, wiping her hands on an apron.

ANNA MARIA
(softly)
Leopold? What is it?

LEOPOLD
(staring ahead, almost to himself)
Wolfgang... he has an ear for music beyond his years. It’s not just talent. It’s... something more.

ANNA MARIA
(smiling gently)
Then nurture it, as you do with Nannerl.

LEOPOLD
(nods, still contemplative)
Yes, but this is different. He could be something extraordinary.

ANNA MARIA
(placing a hand on his arm)
Then we must guide him carefully.

Leopold looks at her, his resolve strengthening.

LEOPOLD
We will. The world needs to hear what he can do.

They walk back toward the house, the sound of Nannerl and Wolfgang laughing faintly in the background.

FADE OUT.
